Can I still hear other vehicle horns and other sounds while wearing Halo?

Yes. We've designed the shell to not seal you out from your surroundings. So even at full volume, you're still well aware of critical sounds on the road.

What is the difference between Halo and Halo bit?

Halo is a full face helmet that comes with sound by Harman Kardon, wireless charging and Auto WearDetect. Halo bit is a module that enables premium sound and smart features, that can be attached to every Ather half face helmet given from July 2024. Features like Ather ChitChat and music sharing are common among both helmets.

Are these products compatible with 450?

Yes, although in-boot charging (wired or wireless) is compatible only with Rizta.

How do I charge Halo & Halo bit?

Halo can be charged wirelessly, either through a home charger or through the charger in the boot of Rizta . Halo bit has a usb C port and can be charged with any USB PD adapter.

Is the Halo bit module compatible with any half-face helmet?

No, Halo bit is only compatible with the new Ather half-face helmets which will be available from July 2024.

What happens to Halo in case of a crash?

For HALO, the rear module houses all the electronics like the battery and all the other hardware and sits outside the helmet to ensure safety of the rider. It is made with the same impact grade plastics to ensure that it takes high amount of impact. We've designed all housing to survive in a crash without breakage.

I have a bluetooth device from another brand, Can I connect with Halo and talk?

No. The Halo helmets are only compatible with each other and do not work with other bluetooth intercom systems.

I don't own an Ather, Can I purchase the Halo?

Yes, But you will lack the seamless connectivity that is integrated in Ather scooters. In the absence of an Ather scooter, you can control calls & music through your smart phone.

You can still use Chit Chat, Music sharing, features in both Halo & Halo bit and Wear detect, Wireless charging (in case of Halo).

What happens if the helmet falls down/crashes?

We've designed all components in HALO and HALO bit with the same attention to impact grade protection just like its helmets. They are also sitting on locations away of the riders head outside of the shell to ensure that no electronic components are present near the riders head during the unfortunate event of a crash.

When can I buy Halo?

The Halo will be available across all Experience centres and online starting July.

When can I buy the Halo bit?

The Halo bit will be available across all ECs starting July. It will also be available on our website.

I don't own an Ather, Can I purchase the Halo bit?

Yes, you can but the best experience is with an Ather vehicle. Halo and Halo bit are designed to connect just to your phone via bluetooth so you're able to control it using just your smart phone too.

Will there be any subscription fees for helmet software updates?

No. There will be no subscription fees on Halo or Halo bit.

Are there multiple sizes for Halo?

Yes. Small (570mm), Medium (580mm), Large (600mm) & XL(620mm)

What is the warranty on the Halo and the Halo bit?

1 year of warranty against manufacturing defects.
